Andreas Maier began his career in the fine chemicals industry with Hoechst and Clariant, which later became part of WeylChem in 2007. He holds a PhD from the University of Stuttgart and has completed the Harvard General Management Program. Throughout his career, Andreas has gained extensive experience in R&D, Operations, Sales, and Business Management, working both in the US and Germany. Known for his dedication and innovative approach, Andreas most recently served as the President of ICIG’s Catexel Business until January 2025. Outside of his professional life, Andreas is passionate about mentoring young professionals and enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, WEYLCHEM ORGANICA GMBH & ALLESSA GMBH
Benjamin Bechem joined the WeylChem Group in July 2024, initially taking responsibility for global sales of Custom Manufacturing & Tolling. In November 2024, he was appointed Managing Director of WeylChem ORGANICA and CBW at the Bitterfeld-Wolfen site. Since February 2025, he has also been serving as Managing Director of Allessa GmbH.
He began his career at Lanxess after earning his PhD in Heidelberg in 2010, gaining extensive leadership and management experience in innovation, marketing, and sustainability.
MANAGING DIRECTOR, WEYLCHEM WESSELING GMBH
Stefan Sigmund started his career working for Evonik Industries in 2013. During his time at Evonik he held various positions in Inhouse Consulting, Business Operations and Sales & Marketing in Germany and the US. In 2018 he joined the Performance Materials Division, which in 2023 partly became part of the WeylChem Group of Companies.
